In 2010, I took an intensive subtitling course in Paris with course provider CIFAP. This was a very intense experience but deeply gratifying, as by the end of the 3 weeks (105 hours), I felt ready to tackle subtitling.
Here is one of the projects I have been working on since completing the course. It’s a short film about Montreal’s Quartier des Spectacles. I translated the interviews into English and determined the time-codes using a professional subtitling software.
