2009: HuggiesClub French Website

In 2009, Scottish company MultiplyUK asked me to provide them with the full translation into French for the new HuggiesClub website, which launched in January 2010.

This project was demanding, both in terms of deadlines and volume: extremely contents-rich, it required complete focus and attention. On this occasion, I collaborated with a fellow translator, which allowed me to complete the project on time: I checked the whole of the project to ensure continuity and coherence.

It was, more often than not, necessary to adapt the text, rather than merely translate it, and certain elements required quite a lot of research.

The client gave some very positive feedback as can be seen below:

“I have worked with Lise on numerous translations of up to 70 000 words at a time. I have always found her enthusiastic and eager to help, and her work to be excellent. My clients have been very satisfied with the quality of the translation and the tone of voice for the project. Lise is also always happy to impart knowledge on French culture and insider knowledge which is also very helpful in translations. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lise for any projects.” August 3, 2009 Top qualities: Great Results, Expert, On Time Jennifer Reynard hired Lise as a Translation in 2009, and hired Lise more than once
